Steam is dropping support for Bitcoin payments
The online gaming community "Steam" has announced today in a blog post that is dropping support for Bitcoin payments. Steam are blaming higher transaction fees for the reason.
At the time of writing this the price of one bitcoin is currently worth $16,957.13 usd on CoinDorks.
For example, transaction fees that are charged to the customer by the Bitcoin network have skyrocketed this year, topping out at close to $20 a transaction last week (compared to roughly $0.20 when we initially enabled Bitcoin). Unfortunately, Valve has no control over the amount of the fee.
